Hello and welcome to my blog. I am the owner of Pumpkin Patch Primitives, an online Quilt Shoppe catering to primitive lovers.
I live in NH, and my "real" life revolves around my son. He is the light of my life and the stars in my sky, he is 21 now, and he is autistic.
I am a homeschooling Mom. I paint, I quilt and my favorite place to be is my home; even when it's a mess!
Thanks so much for stopping by, Brenda=)
Autism has many handsome faces, this is just one of them. Please support Autism research. Sooner or later it will touch your family too. Fact: 1 of every 68 children in the US has some form of Autism. (Source CDC 2018)
since 4am! I was slacking this year and only went to Best Buy and Walmart; before coming in to work that is... BB didnt have anything by the time I got there so I went to WM and got a GPS and a couple of movies... pretty light year for me :o)
4am....only because I woke and couldn't sleep that DH and I decided what the heck..let's go watch the mayhem! OMG....crowds, lines....what a day! However...did get my MAJOR shop done! The plan was to sleep and go for the "scraps" later in the day.
It was a shopping frenzy today, so I stayed away from the big box stores after I went to a Christmas Tree Shop and people were rude ( :D like your cartoon portrayed ) and did some prim shopping instead...people were in a festive mood in those places and I had a great time!
Hi Brenda, Its not so much the pushing and shoving as the feeling and playing and...immediate gratification :) Though I love the expectation of something lovely coming by post and I would miss the eye candy online provides at the touch of button. Hugs, Sharon
I only attempted black Friday one year. But honestly, even the nice ladies that I usually see at Joanne Fabrics kind of scared me. So this year I just slept in until 10:30! Woo hoo!

I was smart this year and stayed home and quilted and worked on my homemade Christmas projects. It felt good!

I slept in and stayed home, haha.
No shopping for me, I rather work on decorations and making presents.
