I know I have it, I checked it on Google (as any legitimate hypochondriac would!). Here, read it for yourself. I got this information from MedicineNet.com (that sounded legtimate enough for me, LOL!)
Post-traumatic stress disorder is a pattern of behavior that develops after a traumatic event. Traumatic events capable of causing post- traumatic stress disorder include kidnapping, natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, etc). This is the reason that when I went to fill an order and picked up a pattern that was WET, I froze, looked up and felt a chill run down my spine. I ran upstairs, got the phone and called SIX plumbers until I found one that would come "NOW", "Today", "IMMEDIATELY". Not in two hours, not "as soon as we can get someone out there"... no, I would say "I need them now!" "Thank you for your time, I will continue looking". It took twenty minutes of phone time but I found someone who was in my home in twenty minutes and in less than an hour the leak was fixed.
After I scheduled the plumber I got my handy dandy camera and went to document the "disaster". LOOK!
You see that little drop? That is a flood waiting to happen... that is what threw me into total panic mode. It made my skin crawl, my hands go cold and my heart race. That my friends was a pipe no more than ten feet away from THIS:
I think I dodged the bullet this time; but I know I have PTSD. Wouldn't you? LOL!

OMG...no wonder you have PTSD! After living through something like that! It's a miracle you're even here to tell us about it!! ROFL
okay laughed my ass off. Too Funny! But... understandable.
What the heck?!! When are you going to get a break??! This year has sucked so bad for you house-wise, that it can only get better! Lucky thing you happened to be getting that pattern at that very moment. Because I don't want to visit you in a psych ward! Though you know I would ;)
Funny, but not;)
We had a flood once from the sewer line, talk about stress. Had to throw out what couldn't be washed. Now I am always looking at the pipes for any drips, lol.

Good catch! Not sure what would have happened if it turned out to be another disaster... I think Joanna might be on the right track though, and with good reason! I like your determination though! Good job there!
Eeeeeeeeegads....I have to say you really were lucky to have caught that before it was much worse. I could just imagine how the phone calls went...and am chuckling to myself.
WHOLLLY MOOOLLLY! Thank God you caught it. You know what is good for PTSD? A margarita and a foot rub from the hubbie. =)

Yes, PTSD for sure! And with good reason! We won't be going through THAT again!
On a side note...the fabrics? YUM! Do you just sit and stare at them sometimes? I would!!
I would have been in a panic too. Thank goodness you found someone to fix the leak or you would truly have been in trouble!
