I'm Alive but My Computer is Dying!

I'm Alive! HOORAY!
That was the good news...the bad news is that although I have TONS to tell you, I am a graphic person and I need pictures to tell my stories. If I can't get my pictures up, I just lose my mojo and don't want to share. Yep, I'm like that. No pictures, no story.
And so, there you have it. I am a no show because my computer is sucking the big one and it refuses to let me do anything. I would tell you where and how I got this image but I refuse to incriminate myself so let's just say, "I found myself" online, LOL!
This is a brand new pattern I picked up at market and will soon have in stock...
Oh yes I did, I went to market... Don't even get me started. I had my sister taking pictures left and right and now they are zipped up tight in a folder I cannot access on my computer.
Anyway, I have sooo much to say, and no pictures so I'm leaving now before I have a meltdown.
I just wanted to let you know that I just bought a new computer and as soon as I get it up and
I finally have access to my pictures I have a BOATLOAD of stuff to share.
Oh, and my handsome Prince turned 15. Can you believe it? I can't believe I have survived the past 11 years, I think it's just God's mercy but there you have it... eleven years of Autism and I am still here. Moms with new DX's take note. If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger!
I have a story to share..but not without a pic.
OMG! I'm taking GP to Disney. Next week. I feel like I'm about to stand on a ledge and jump. Yep, it's another scary adventure and when my dear friend Michelle (Rocking Chair Stitches) asked me why I was taking him there if I was so terrified, I told her the God's honest truth, because he wants to go and I want to make him happy. So there you go. Send me your prayers 'cause you KNOW I'm going to need them. I have a great pic of GP on his BD. It's on Facebook because I can upload it directly from my phone.
I'll be back soon folks. Please know that I have not deserted you .
My computer is running on fumes, LOL! Big hugs, B=)

Brenda, all I can say is ......I'm blessed to be your friend..you are a good person, good friend and most of all and awesome Mom.....while all mothers are SPECIAL......there are only a certain few that God hand chooses to be the Mom of a SPECIAL CHILD like GP. As Mom's we will do anything for our children but Brenda I stand in awe of the mother you are to GP.....I know that road is never easy for you ....but God certainly knew what he was doing in trusting such a handsome Prince into your loving arms. I will be thinking of you and praying for you next week in Disney with GP.....one thing I do know is you will be making one charming, handsome young Prince very happy......and as you say that is all you want for him.......to be happy and loved.
Big (((HUGS)))) go with you!

Oh what a great tablerunner - love all the details. As for Disney it will be great - hang in there. I have a 20 yr old son with Aspergers and we've done Disney several times and even though it can be overstimulating, the experience and the memories you make are well worth it. I'll say an extra prayer for you - go and enjoy yourself and your sweet GP -

hugs -

I totally understand your dilemna! However...one only has to look at all the great pictures already on your blog and reading along is never tiresome! Cheer up. We will be patient and wait for all the incredible pictures! Love that piece you are holding...wow...I looked away and looked back it is so darn cute!

I know what you mean about photos, I'm that way too.
You might not remember, I have Asperger's. I also am a grandmother of a severely autistic child who will be 15 in the spring.
While I cannot presume to know the details of your life, I do understand on a viseral level what your days might be like. It's awesome that you keep such a positive outlook and remain busy in the things that you love as well.
Hang in there!!

Hi Brenda,

How frustrating...I must admit I like pics on my blog too, so you can imagine what happened when the camera went missing for a while.
Have fun at Disney...I know it will get overwhelming at times, but as you said he wants to go...with Liam at the aquarium I had to try a find a quiet spot for him to distress...shame it was a toilet cubicle, but needs must LOL
Hugs, Sharon

Oh I really hope your computer will be up and running soon. How frustrating to have all those wonderful photos to share with us and then have something like a computer crashing happen. I feel your pain:/

How wonderful for you to be able to take your son to Disney World. I know you will have a lot of fun and I will remember to keep you in my prayers:)

BTW The Valdani thread you just sent to me is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! And I thank you! I cannot wait to get that new book by Buggy Barn:)

Stay calm and we'll still be here when you get your new computer up and going!!

Bless your heart, you dear woman!
I did wonder about the silence.
Gosh, losing all the pictures on your computer is scary. I hope you'll be able to get them back.

I bet you'll have a wonderful time in Disney World. You're going at the perfect time too ... the weather should be mild and it shouldn't be terribly crowded.
I will send some prayers so that you'll have a relaxing and fun vacation.
