Pumpkin Patch Block Swap 2007!
Last Fall I hosted a Pumpkin Block Swap. We were 42 ladies. We each made a set of 36-42 identical pumpkins (we had three styles to choose from and the color of the pumpkin, along with the size, depended on the placement your pumpkin had on the quilt pattern. The pattern is by Anne Sutton and is called The Frost is On the Pumpkin. This pic if of Bab William's finished quilt; the handsome guy is her helper, and husband, Douglas! Wish my blocks looked like that....mine look like a little stack in a ziplock! I love hers though; way to go Babs!

But I'm sure they are a fabulous looking stack in a ziploc!

This would inspire me to get them out of the ziploc. Well, this is coming from the queen of UFO's so I understand why yours are still in the ziploc. I love that some of them are white and black.
How fun to come across this today of all days - the day that I finally got my pumpkins out of the ziploc. Sewed them together, made the borders and all is sandwiched together. I'm so proud of myself - considering I got the house clean too :)
That's funny: I just found mine in a ziplock bag in a big plastic box of UFO's and got it out to finish. So nice to see one already done: I'm inspired now....arden
Brenda,
What a wonderful quilt and to have it made with blocks from fellow quilters, makes it special.
