I was reading somewhere about decorating with small quilts, and only then did it occur to me that I seldom share pics of my home. There's nothing particularly impressive about the tiny little house that we call Home and maybe that's why I never think that anyone would really care to see it, but because I LOVE seeing other people's homes (is that wrong of me???Does that make me nosey? Oh dear, I think it does...
LOL!), and because I am asked quite frequently, "But what do you do with all
those little quilts?", I thought I'd start a series that due to the size of my home, will last about 1.2 posts,
hahaha! (OK, maybe three posts...) I'll call it the Home Show!
This is a pic of one of the walls in the living room, this pic was taken 04/25/2010, and yes, those are Fall quilts, and a bunny quilt living in perfect harmony in my home.
I love Fall! ... and I love Bunnies too. So there you have it... your first glimpse into that little place we call home. B=)
I love how you have the mini quilts behind the things on the shelves! What a great idea! :0)
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of that idea. It is so neat with the quilts behind the shelves like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
it's beautiful! I endeavor to decorate like that when I have my own home!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever placing the little quilts like that. It's like discovering a treasure when you look beyond what's on the shelf.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful arrangement.. I love seeing your home..I love the little quilts, they are so sweet..

ReplyDeleteLove those minis, Brenda. I'm walking down that same road at the moment.
I have a really small house too, but the quilts go up on the wall anyhow! You have a wonderful collage of all the things you love. I love fall colors so much that I have one room dedicated to those colors! Lynne
ReplyDeleteThat has GOT to be the most INGENIOUS thing that I've ever seen!!!!
ReplyDeleteA wall of small shelves, with mini quilts, as their backgrounds!
I LOVE your sense of style, too... BTW!
